The industrial grade metal housing provides a rugged solution suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications. Simple and fast assembly is acheived due the fast connection technology EasyConnect®. Either solid single wires or stranded wires can be used. The colour coded contact elements help avoid connection errors. Using cable lengths of up to 100m, Ethernet based components such as PROFINET devices can be connected on the network with transmission speeds up to 100Mbps. These RJ45 connectors have a protection class of IP20.
